Angel @ CL capped these tweets by Asher Roth as he slipped in a joke in ill-taste (“hanging out with nappy headed hoes”). Some folks think it was just a joke; others thought it was VERY racist and should never had been uttered.
Asher Roth is the newest white rapper to hit the mainstream and has garnered a lot of comparisons to Eminem, because of his skin tone and his tone of voice. I’m not really a fan, but if you hit Google you can find plenty of sites about him!
What do ya’ll think? I’m sure it was innocent, but social media and web 2.0 provide an immediate forum for artists to reach fans. The Bible says “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks”…has he messed up his budding career?
Edit: @Gyant from Gyant Unplugged says that Asher’s Twitter was hacked…hmmm…PR spin or the truth?!

I’ve since read some more stuff about this Roth character… he’s a douchebag of the highest order. After hearing his views on hip hop, black culture and black people in general, I think he knew a lot better than I first suspected about what he was saying.
