Amerie’s poor flop of an album (In Love & War) actually has a few songs I like on there. Sadly, “More Than Love” featuring a forgettable verse by Fabolous to go with this even more forgettable song is NOT one of them.
However, in briefly skimming through the above “Behind the Scenes” footage (which I hardly ever post), I realized that one of my favorite Wale songs from Attention Deficit, “Mama Told Me” also samples the same song. With a little sleuthing and some help from Twitter and www.whosampled.com, I figured out it was the old Kool & The Gang song “Summer Madness (Live)”. Love this song! And the Wale song stays in rotation.
