Yo…what in the name of Tina Turner is that jacket that Amerie is wearing!? ROFL it looks like…in addition to the faux Lady GaGa dancers that Amerie swiped, she also took 3 of Lady GaGa’s sweated out old performance lacefronts, took them to Mama Tina Knowles and had her make a House of Dereyawn cowboy-meets-yaki jacket!
Other than that, this performance is pretty good vocally for Amerie! She’s been turning out the live performances lately, I gotta give her her props though.
Why does George Lopez always sound like he was gurgling pebbles though? It kinda annoys me everytime I try to watch his show.

It’s obvi she hasn’t QUITE mastered the dancing and singing thing, but this was a good performance.

That’s the second costume I’ve seen wherein they got lazy and just stuck wigs on the shoulders.
She just shouldn’t. Everything…shouldn’t. Especially when she opens with the idea that people have been asking for her, waiting for her to come back. No, they forgot. Sorry.

There are some horses somewhere shivering their asses off right now, that jacket is horrendous. I’ve seen Amarie perform this damn song numerous times in the last 3 weeks and this performance was a little better than the others but she still hasn’t impressed me yet, I definitely wouldn’t pay money to go see her in concert.

So yeah… She has been doing better vocally, but I am still not impressed with the vocals, songs, or overall presentation. Maybe she should pull a Kelly Rowland and go overseas?? I don’t know. Who really bought LAMErie… I mean Amerie’s album anyway?

LOL! I mentioned the concert thing because she was here in Chicago for one about a few weeks ago. I fell out laughing when I heard about it but hey, she gotta eat somehow!
I agree, I think she should go overseas because I can’t see her making it here in the US no time soon, not with an album like “Love & War” anyway, it was truly disappointing.
