Alright Ms. Alicia Keys. I’m gonna say her performances are on the upswing so far. Towards the end before they remixed it for live performance though, she did start to get a little flat.
But Alicia is looking GREAT these days and I don’t mind watching her be flat or oversing at all. That is what the mute button is for, right? LOL. But her backup singers give me so much LIFE, goodness, they hold it down!
Alicia’s album is out OFFICIALLY today. Are you copping it? Based on the singles alone, I’d say no, but I’m gonna squeak out a review here in 5, 4, 3, 2…

That performance was just…. eh. A mess at her avoiding the high note in the second verse. And she makes the last part of the song sound so weird because she CLEARLY HAS to be standing to scream out that “HOLD ON-UH-UH-OOONNNNNNN!” and so a keyboardist has to start playing the piano part for her.
And she looked a half-ass grinding mess.
