I been saying it for weeks….I knew this bit couldn’t sing live NO MORE.
LOL, and then the heifer tried to blame it on the poor background singer, tombout some “quit singing my parts” [3:05].
AND THEN tried to cover it up talking about “We try to bring something new everytime…switch it….” or whatever she said at the end.
OOOOH SEE, when I saw her perform on American Idol last week I just KNEW she was lipsynching!!
Did you see how hard she had to work to get that out “Come and give me what I deserve!” out at the end? The reason they chose “Touch My Body” as the single was probably because there’s not any real melody and is pitched so low.
Mariah, this is the end baby. Just retire, take the money and run. Don’t ruin your legacy please!! The cracks are starting to show….what did I tell ya’ll?! “VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR”.
Funny because I saw this video at C&D right after I just finished reading this over at The Lefsetz Letter:
The elephant in the room with Mariah is that she is thought by many (especially the younger generation) as the singer’s singer – and she doesn’t even sing live. Anybody in the industry (and I’ve had this confirmed by her sound engineers and producers) will tell you that when performing “live”, she drops in live vocal lines only occasionally and when she feels comfortable. The live vocal parts are interchanged with pre-recorded vocals that differ from the recorded versions. She is, therefore, essentially, a studio singer.

Wow! It must suck to have such a great voice, then have it be gone one day. Ignoring the money and fame that came with it, of course.
Maybe she’s been smoking too many of those left-handed cigarettes.

To me, it’s like, since Mariah made all this money, she’s just getting lazy with her singing now.
On the other hand, everyone lip synchs these days. Why are we surprised that Mariah finally jumped on that bandwagon?

First of all I have never been a fan/stan of Mariah even when she was with Motolla back in the day. HOWEVER, when she wit old boy, he kept her looking classy and help that piecemeal career together. They can say what they want to about him, but he was to her what Clive was to Whitney.
When she divorced him, her class and talent went right out the door. Now she’s too buying shoes instead of sitting her azz down with a vocal coach and etiquette teacher.
