I’m sorry, this will be must-see-movie-watching!
Must see it on Netflix!
LOL.
Can I get a movie about what happened to the career of Da Brat? At least there would be some hot chicks in it! *jokes*
I know they paid a buttload for that trailer usage of “Notorious” with that Duran Duran sample. Woooweeee!
No seriously though, is anyone WANTING to see this? Let me know your thoughts…

Hmmm…Well, the actor does resemble BIG–that’s a plus but I’ll pass. Was that Angela Bassett??? Is it her year to do all the “tough, black mama” roles??
Da Brat needs a movie! Just so we can see what her hair looks like without all those colorful ribbons and barrets. You know they don’t allow that in da clink!
Duran Duran is still the jam! They sound exactly the same as their records in concert—a feat most musicians can’t accomplish.

Hell yeah I wanna see it…
When it comes out on DVD and I can watch it in a room with a bunch of my friends so we can laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.
Yo, but really… is that Angela Bassett? Lawd… what’s going on?

I kinda want to see it JUST to see how everyone would pull off their roles. Naturi as pre-op Lil Kim actually was kind of believable…who would have thunk!

If it has a scene of Faith whoopin kims ass after she found them in bed together, then yeah I’ll pick it on my netflix.

Angela Bassett sure has been “acting down” a lot lately. I just watched “Meet The Browns” and it was a little painful.

Maybe this is a dumb question but is this a hood musical, like Carmen?

The Faith/Lil Kim love triangle is the only thing that makes this somewhat interesting. I don’t know if I’ll lay down my 10 bucks at the theater for it though. We’ll see.

@ No. 6–Yeah, what’s up with Angela in all of these stereotypical roles? Meet the Browns was awful. I couldn’t watch it all the way through.
I wouldn’t wait to see this on Netflix. Through Redbox, you can get movies for a $1.

I’m a little apprehensive about this movie. I don’t know if the lead actor has anymore in common with Biggie than being tall and big. And Angela Bassett as a Jamaican woman? WTH? I’m glad Naturi is getting work after 3LW kicked her out. Broadway and now the big screen? Get that paper girl! I’ll watch for the matinee price. Has anyone read that new Faith Evans book yet? I saw it came out but I think I’ll borrow it from the library or something? Spike Lee joint “Miracle at St. Anna” is coming out on Friday! Go watch that!

Soooo, I’m da only 1 dat saw Nature all sweaty on Gravy’s boat doin the nasty?

Yeah, I’m in the theaters opening night for only one reason: to watch Angela Bassett do a Jamaican accent. Its a damn shame she cant get meatier roles but I’m going to support her either way. I think she’ll be fierce as always.

I dont like the content of the movie. I do like B.I.G but whosoever thought of putting out this movie is probably saying. Ok President Obama is Black and blacks are now seeing thing differently, so let distract them to go back to what most of them grew up into, and we’re going to use someone they really admire.
His life story was told and its interested but most of the content at times made me say NO!Dont show that! to myself especially when i look at saw who was the audience watching with . Im 27 today and my mind is right but most kids now need a better guidance and I hope we will look on the dark side when we make movies.
