I didn’t watch (I never have actually, LOL) but Mariah Carey “performed” this year, doing a medley of “I’ll Be Loving U Long Time” and “Touch My Body”. Just typing those titles out makes me cringe LOL.
It’s gotten to the point where I can’t even tell WHEN or IF Mariah is ever singing live anymore. If she is, it’s so “backed up” by them live tracks and/or background singers singing over everything that it’s just impossible. I don’t think she actually sang anything live until the end when she did her normal “let me sing high to prove why I’m here” manuever. I don’t know anymore.
However, is it just me or are these songs really inappropriate for children to hear!? Putting sex tapes on Youtube? Touching my body? Wrapping legs around the waist!? I mean, really, why doesn’t anyone think of these things…not to mention teaching bad grammar and being offending to Asians LOL!
I don’t know, I am just kind of done with MiMi. And with Whitney sounding like the Frog Princess, I just don’t know what to do. SAVE ME JAZMINE SULLIVAN! I WANNA BE SAVED!

I think that was live. She performed that song on Jimmy Kimmel and it was pretty good. I was surprised because she has been sounding a bloody wreck as of late, really the past ummm 3 years…but I still stan for Mimi! What I can’t get past though, is that outfit.

Um that was most definitely ALLLLLLLL lip syncing. Even the freakin high notes. You can tell just by listening to the notes that require a lot of force and the fact that she’s doing nothing but smilling and moving her lips. Youtube the old vids of her when you KNOW she was singing and see the difference. She puts no effort in this video.
The medley was cute though, lol.

I watched it yesterday and that was straight lip synching. I’m so over Mariah its ridiculous..wheres the little hispanic kid that was singing “Touch My Body”? That kid is entertaining!

I didn’t know whether to touch her body, or reach in my pocket to pay her for services rendered . . .
She looks like she’s ready to slang some cooch in the barrio down in Miami somewhere . . . or audition to be an extra on the “Glow In The Dark” tour.
I can’t do it anymore. After that whole “stop singin’ my part” foolishness a few months ago, she should know better. I refuse to give her the attention she so desperately craves any longer.

I saw some of this performance the other day and I thought it was fake too. There’s no way she can concentrate on actually singing when she’s got to focus on not falling in those stripper heels. Those songs were totally inappropriate and honestly they should have made her sing Hero, When You Believe or something more inspiring to kids. Her stage presence while singing Touch my Body only perpetuates all these stereotypes of the way to dress, talk and act if you want to get a guy. For shame Mariah.
