Deborah Cox – “Did You Ever Love Me”
Deborah Cox is back with a new R&B album ya’ll, and that makes me happy. Again, in the vein of me talking about under appreciated vocalists, Deborah has chops. I have all her albums, and she put out a jazzier, less crossover album a while ago, but now she returns to form with production from John Legend, Shep Crawford (who wrote her signature song “Nobody’s Supposed To Be Here”), Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, etc. Her new single “Did You Ever Love Me” is out and it’s a hot one that is moving up the Urban AC charts as Deborah weaves her voice around another R&B gem.
Her album is out Nov. 11th and it’s on the same indie label Image Entertainment that distributed Tamia’s awesome last album. Let me know your thoughts!

ROFL…how you get the title of somebody’s ‘signature’ song wrong…
It’s ‘Nobody’s Supposed to be Here’!
Anyhow I am glad she’s back to that straight R&B, D. Cox is definitely incredible

Good pull on this song. I can’t front … Deborah Cox & RL – “We can’t be friends” is a timeless song IMO … Hope she has a few more gems like that on her upcoming album.
Speaking of some promotion, I am going to try to get her on my show so we can discuss this.
