    • New Beyonce’ Music + Album Release Details

Written by The IPS in Blogs,New Music & Reviews on Sep 9, 08

      Beyonce

Praise Beyahweh! May Her Mane Reign Forever! All Hail High Priestess Sasha! She Rules On High!

Now that I got the formal greeting and reverences out of the way, on to the news! LOL

Some “new” Beyonce’ songs have surfaced (I know artists hate the Internet ROFL) and you can check them here.

      Beyonce – Settle 4 You
      & Beyonce – Stop Sign

And details of her much rumored album have emerge as well:

Beyonce’s third solo album will be released Nov. 18 via Music World Music/Columbia, and will be preceded Oct. 7 by the radio release of the singles “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies.”

Beyonce co-wrote or co-produced all the material, which the label says comprises “her most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date.” Justin Timberlake will also appear on the as-yet-untitled project, but additional details about his contributions have not been released.

The artists teamed up to cover the Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell classic “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” last Friday at the Fashion Rocks event at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

Producer Jim Jonsin, the man behind Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop,” has also logged studio time with Beyonce on the track “Beautiful Nightmare,” which leaked online earlier this year. It is unknown if the song will make the final track list. (Source)

All praises be to the Queen of Queens! I’m sure she’s done some Creole magic to swoop down and save the ailing music industry AND the failing music industry ROFL. If Beyonce’ can’t do it, and Solange can’t, then NO one can!

Side-eye @ Beyonce co-wrote or co-produced all the material, but I’m looking forward to her new album. I’m not a big fan of hers, but she doesnt disappoint.

      2. September 9, 2008 ALSmith

Isn’t this album supposed to be the one that has an “international” appeal?

I like what I’m hearing so far, and my waryness is waning a little bit.

I shouldn’t doubt Bey to come with it, but you know… it’s 2008, we’re in a recession and gas prices are high… you can’t ever be too sure about it.

      3. September 9, 2008 Rebecca

        Is “revelatory” an actual word?

      4. September 9, 2008 Rebecca

I’m feeling Stop Sign. The acoustic guitar and Bey singing au naturale. That song is simple and sweet.

      5. September 9, 2008 Seriously!

Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell are turning in their graves as we speak (type)! I wonder how that duet turned out!

      6. September 9, 2008 The IPS

@Rebecca, yes, revelatory is a word!
