OK, this is REALLY boring. I mean, Janelle Monae is cool, but YT people are gonna be like “who the hell is this girl with the funnel cake on her head?” Janelle’s voice…I thought I liked her until I heard her live. Then, I was sad. No doubt, she’s talented and quirky and whatnot, but her singing Christmas songs for GAP is the ultimate “you shouldn’t have signed to Bad Boy” example. Really? And her teeth look like chiclets or something. This freaks me out. And is that Jon Heder? ROFL.
God bless Trey Songz. If he was ugly, he’d have no record deal and no one would like him LOL. I am sticking to that. Him and Flo-Rida are utterly useless (and when did GAP start selling Apple Bottom Jeans and boots w/ the fur?). Sandra Bernhard was better than him in this, she just brought more energy. The Dixie Chicks are so paid I don’t even know WHY they are in this LOL. When them dudes started doing the Kid N’ Play though I fell out. That was a wrap for me.
GAP, I’m not sure how I feel about these ads. They are kind of boring, the music is just lame, and you couldn’t make any better ads?! Urban pandering is not working for you, at least not with these people. I know we in a recession and they probably all worked for $200 gift cards and buffet kraft services on the day of the shoot, but praise sweet minty jesus and young jeezy, I know that Cassie was available. At least she is interesting to look at!

1. Is it me or was her snapping WAY the hell off at the beginning of the video? Jon Heder did it in for me, I could have just watched him dance without Janelle Monet (and that says alot since I slightly stan for her)
2. Dwight Shrute. Thats ALL I have to say about that. Hes fuckin hilarious. More Dwight, less Trey, less Donkey Kong, and less dancing scarved ninjas. Pull your pants up Gap! Just sloppy.

Janelle was just boring as hell and useless, but Heder’s dancing was mildly entertaining. I really just don’t see a place for her in mainstream music, which isn’t a bad thing. Some should remain a hidden gem before they get turned out and end up singing for scarves. The second one was much better in my opinion, I would have liked more Jason Biggs, Freddy Rodriguez and Romany Malaco dancing. I really don’t need to see or hear Flo Rida ever again, fuck him and his weird body.

LOL @ Jon Heder’s dancing, that’s the only good part of those cheesey commercials, I hope they don’t plan on airing them on TV.
I just can’t get into this Janelle Monae chick, acting like she Andre 3000’s sister, it’s like she trying to hard to be different. You right IPS, her teeth does look wierd, like they too big for her mouth or something and that ugly ass hair doo is not cutting it at all! Looks like a burnt souffle’.

i think it’s funny and just right for christmas. It’s cheezy and lets face it x-mas is one of the most corny cheezy lovey dovey holidays next to valentines day. I’m down for a white boy that can’t dance and her fine black skin on that all white background. It’s a great laugh…trey songz and the dixie chicks funny. relax x-mas is coming so we are going to get worse than this.
