I can’t even hate. Her spanish is decent, I guess. She’s getting her Spanish III on. A mi me darÃ¡ lo mismo que cante en EspaÃ±ol, InglÃ¨s, Italiano, Chino, etc. Ni puedo decir que lo odio completamente, la emociÃ³n con que canta le ganarÃ¡ algunos premios.

Anyway, I like it. It sounds like she actually got into it this time unlike “Irremplezable” (which sounded suspiciously computerized). I actually prefer this version to the original…
And I’m not entirely sure about her admiration of Latin culture, but I’m sure there’s some there.

Yep, there was a fiasco over her making that comment. Although I remember Destiny’s Child doing a performance with Alejandro Sanz a few years ago, and then she performed with another latin artist on another show somewhere I remember seeing on DailyMotion.

Having said that; I don’t really like it.

I like the album though. Some people might not like it because they’re going for broader appeal; it’s more contemporary and less urban than “B’Day” as a whole save for a few tracks. Overall though I think it’s well balanced and there def a few songs that are growing on me.

I don’t know. It didn’t wow me, but it wasn’t necessarily bad. It’d be a better sell if Beyonce had some connection to hispanic culture, but I doubt it.
