Love this song. Posted the video of him singing it a capella with his daughter on Youtube a while ago and now I just found the proper video from Warner Brothers. Eric sounds and looks great. It’s one of those “I’m going home and reminiscing” joints, but it’s pleasant and makes you pay more attention to the vocals than anything else.
His new album drops September 9th, and I will be out in the stores to get it! Real music stand up!
In honor of Faith Evans’ new book that has come out “Keep The Faith”in which she admits to beating hoes down, having a breast lift and lipo before her last album came out, smoking a lot of weed, having a tummy tuck back in the day, not cheating on Biggie with Tupac, AND MORE, I had to go back in the vaults and pull this one out. Faith is actually one of the better singers of our day and age, and despite her issues, she still sounded great on her most recent album that dropped.
But back in the day…Faith was stuntin’ on these hoes musically! She did used to be a bit bigger back in the day and I hear she also admits that Puffy made her have a tummy tuck back then. Scandalous.
ALRIGHT KELLY! Shake that money maker for Nike! I ain’t mad.
I’m sorry though, when she pole dancing on that cart minus the pole…I just couldn’t stop laughing!

I love Raphael Saadiq and I am definitely a fan, but this video? Not so much. This probably won’t even get played on BETJ LOL, it’s just a little…boring. Nice and all, but boring. My phone rang and I totally forgot it was on. His love shows are awesome though LOL.
Raphael’s new album drops September 16th and it’s called The Way I See It. Features that throwback soul sound that Solange is desperately trying to get with all that holleration she doing. Actually Raphael produced for her, but those songs didn’t make the album. Shame!
This is a pretty tepid video from Young Jeezy in the visuals department. I mean, in the “Put On” video he had Kanye and Black US flags and crackheads and rednecks and it was just THERE. BAM! Very strong visuals. This video? Umm, hoes on a beach.

You need a vacation Jeezy. We get it. Can I get a vacation from your wash, rinse, repeat beats and umm…you singing and sounding like Lil’ Wayne in parts?
Just when I was starting to not hate Jeezy this go ’round! My favorite Jeezy song is “Go Crazy” — guess I will have to keep bumping that.
This video was kinda boring. No cheeks clapping, no bums eating watermelon, NOTHING. FAIL! (jokes, people.) It was kinda lame though, on the real — seemed really Un-Jeezy like to me. Oh well. Police say rap music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight is in a Las Vegas jail on drug and assault charges after he was accused of beating his girlfriend while brandishing a knife.
The 43-year-old Knight was arrested today (Aug. 27) on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and battery domestic violence.
Police responding to a report of a car hitting a curb near the Las Vegas Strip say they found Knight standing over his longtime girlfriend with a knife in his hand. Police say the woman tried to run from the car, but Knight grabbed her.
He’s accused of having the drugs Ecstasy and hydrocodone when he was arrested. Knight’s lawyers, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, declined to comment.
Knight is the co-founder of Death Row Records. He’s had numerous prior run-ins with the law, including several arrests for assault. (Source)

I love Brandy and girl is sounding fantastic these days even if “Right Here (Departed)” isn’t the jam I’d hoped it to be right out the box. A couple of listens though and I deal. I can’t wait for the video!

Pharrell is starting to look…I don’t know, his age? Rough around the edges? LOL. Common looks like Diet Light Rick Ross with that beard. LOL, wtf is up with that…he going back to them “Electric Circus” days with that one…is that a good thing…or a bad thing!? As you know, Common went with Pharrell for pretty much this WHOLE album.
Video doesn’t quite GEL if you get what I mean, but it’s cool nonetheless. Those backup dancers look off, straight out of Breakin’ 3: Step Up 2 The Streets. I’ll take my “pass” card on them, thanks!
